Terms of Use

These terms set out the basis on which you may use this website. They are written to be readable rather than exhaustive.

Some sections are still under legal review ahead of launch, and say so where that is the case.

01Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to your use of overleveling.com(the “site”), operated by Overleveling. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

These terms cover this website only. The individual network sites are separate services with their own terms.

02Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or any connected system.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation, including by placing an unreasonable load on it or by circumventing rate limits.
  • Use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, malware, or abusive content.
  • Scrape, copy or reuse substantial parts of the site’s content without permission, other than the ordinary indexing performed by search engines.
  • Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any organisation.

We may restrict access to the site where it is necessary to protect it or its users.

03Intellectual property

The content of this site — its text, layout, design, graphics, logo and code — belongs to Overleveling or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may read, link to and quote reasonable extracts of this site with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, present it as your own, or use the Overleveling name or mark in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Third-party trademarks. Game names, titles, logos and trademarks referred to on this site or on network properties belong to their respective owners and are used for factual identification and commentary. Overleveling and its properties are independent resources. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any game, developer or publisher they cover.

05What you send us

When you send us a message through the contact form, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it.

Please do not send us confidential or commercially sensitive information through the form. It is not a secure channel, and we cannot treat an unsolicited submission as confidential. If you need to share something under an obligation of confidence, tell us first and we will agree an appropriate route.

If you send us an idea or suggestion unprompted, we may act on it without obligation to you. We are not accepting unsolicited proposals in confidence.

06Disclaimers

This site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current at any given moment.

Nothing on this site is professional, financial, legal or investment advice. Information about the network is descriptive and may change as the business develops.

Where a description of a network property refers to what it is being built to do, that is a statement of current intent rather than a promise about a future product.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Overleveling is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The precise scope and enforceability of these limitations vary by jurisdiction. This section is under legal review and will be finalised before launch.

08Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms have not yet been specified. They will be stated here once the operating entity and its place of establishment are confirmed.

We would rather leave this section explicitly open than assert a jurisdiction that has not been chosen. If you need to know before that point, please ask us.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The “last reviewed” date at the top reflects the most recent version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are under legal review and are not legal advice. Questions about them can go through the contact form.
